I was alone. The wind blew though my ears leaving me with a feeling of being clear headed, I found myself in an open landscape stretching as far as the eye could see but alas there was no colour to this beautiful place.
I was on a path which I followed with eye ended at a castle or church in the distant.
I started walking along the path when I noticed what looked like a lake in front of the building. I heard noises which I had never heard before which sounded like bird songs, yet I didn't see any signs of life.
as I came closer I noticed colours from the sky dancing with each other and then falling majestically down into the lake as they fell I felt a feeling of euphoria I wanted to stop and watch the colours but something was pulling me, calling me to reach the building so I carried on along the path with my head held high.
I came close to the end of the path when i noticed the lake was actually cliffs dropping deeper then I have every seen, looking up the sky had completely opened and I could see several planets enormous in the sky surrounded by thousands of stars and nebula's lighting the night sky in a glory of colour and life up in front of me. I saw a complete umbra of a man all light shone behind him not in front so I could not make out any facial features. I approached the man and questioned him.
' Sir, may I ask you where I am?'
'Why,' he replied as he stepped into the light,'I thought you of all people would know this place James.'
I could see him clearly now he had a bowler hat on with a three piece suit he had piercing eyes of bright green that seemed to make me trust every word he was saying his face was weathered he seemed well educated and some how he knew my name.
'What is down there?' I asked him.
'That is everything you have known and will know, every memory you have and will have.'
I felt a confused I didn't understand what he was saying.
